48 more hours | Being positive in COVID – 19

This short film that we have made is a story that tells the bond that exists between a couple just as the Christmas and New Year holidays arrive in 2021, one of them gets infected with the famous COVID-19 virus, and therefore, they isolate themselves inside their house in separate rooms.

What it tells us 48 hours later, being positive in COVID-19

Without a doubt, during the last two years from the date this documentary was made, everyone has lived through this pandemic with fear, caution, or the thought that at any moment they could be infected.

This virus is something that cannot be controlled, and moreover, it affects everyone, no one is immune to what could happen to them, or that is what we know a priori.

In the midst of a mass vaccination, the story we see is how this couple manages to unite against this danger, and additionally, both feel that even if one gets infected, they are really both, because the love they feel for each other leads them to take care of one another.

As seen in the images, they work together to find the best way for one of them not to get infected as well, and for the other to recover in the best way (as we see in a map that is shown in a fragment of the documentary).

Told subjectively, we see how one of them narrates how they lived it, what they felt, and how little importance they gave to everything that was happening in the world, focusing only on how the days would pass and that long-awaited moment to return to normality would arrive.

Where the short film 48 hours later happened and was filmed

This house that we see in the short film is located in Barcelona, Spain, and these are authentic and real images that were recorded at the same moment everything was happening. In fact, it was edited on January 1, while waiting for the final discharge from the doctors.
